Dell EqualLogic PS4100 Series iSCSI Arrays

The Dell™ EqualLogic™ PS4100 series is designed to deliver data center class IT solutions, such as storage consolidation and virtualization, to remote office/branch office (RO/BO) and small-to-medium business storage deployments at an affordable entry point. Using the same innovative scale-out architecture as previous product generations, the PS4100 Series increases raw capacity, adds density, and boosts IOPS performance by up to 67%.1

The Dell EqualLogic PS4100 series provides rapid deployment, enterprise-class data protection, solid performance, and fault-tolerance — all while providing simple management and seamless expansion based on innovative Fluid Data™ architecture. To grow storage capacity and performance for remote office needs, two PS4100 arrays can be combined in a storage area network (SAN) group. To further scale out the SAN, EqualLogic PS6100 arrays can be added seamlessly without sacrificing the initial investment in PS4100 arrays.

PS Series arrays come complete with a comprehensive set of advanced data protection and management software, with no additional software licensing cost. Providing similar benefits for load-balancing and seamless growth as virtualized servers, EqualLogic SANs have a patented virtualized peer storage architecture. EqualLogic arrays in a SAN work together to dynamically manage and move data, load balance across system resources and expand online to meet growing storage needs without disrupting applications. This virtualized modular storage architecture scales performance with capacity and enables IT managers to meet the needs of growing deployments, by purchasing only the storage that is needed, when it is needed.
