SRM is a VMware vSphere based product that is tightly integrated with Dell EqualLogic PS Series through vStorage APIs to offer centralized disaster recovery management, automation, and testing for the entire virtualized datacenter. By leveraging the PS Series’ native Auto-Replication feature and directly integrating with vCenter Site Recovery Manager, IT Administrators are able to effortlessly move virtual machines and their datasets between the production and disaster recovery sites. In traditional SAN environments, the cost, complexity and burden on resources is often too high for many businesses to take advantage of SAN-based replication.
